About Medicare Help Guide

Medicare Help Guide started as a simple idea: Medicare is confusing, even for people who are good at reading fine print, and most explanations either drown you in government jargon or oversimplify to the point of being wrong.

Our Approach

Every page on this site is written in plain English first. If you don’t understand the content, the details don’t matter. We base our content on the official CMS “Medicare & You” handbook and Medicare.gov, and we review and update our figures annually when the federal government releases. Premiums, deductibles, and coverage changes each fall and we update as soon as Medicare.gov.

What This Site Is (and Isn’t)

Medicare Part A is an independent, privately run informational resource. We are not affiliated with the federal government, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or Social Security. For official, authoritative information and to enroll in coverage, always confirm details directly at Medicare.gov or by calling 1-800-MEDICARE.
